CU Service Centers Shared Branching Locator App Now Available on iPhones®
FSCC offers locator on iTunes® for free download
Ontario, Calif.—(March 24, 2010)—Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc. (FSCC), the nation’s largest and most convenient credit union Shared Branching Network, announced today the launch of the new credit union Shared Branching locator app on iTunes. The free app, developed in partnership with LocatorSearch LLC, is available to download and offers over 6,400 locations to perform Shared Branching transactions. The app features the familiar swirl logo representing CU Service Centers® so members can be confident the app is authentic.
“Whether a credit union member is trying to locate a branch or a 7-Eleven® location near their home, work, school, or even while they are traveling, this app will provide them with a list of the most convenient locations,” said Sarah Canepa Bang, President/CEO, FSCC. "FSCC is making the convenience of Shared Branching more accessible for mobile users and members who are on-the-go.” In addition to providing locations, the feature also provides their respective addresses, contact information, hours of operation as well as driving directions directly to the location of the user’s choice.
According to the FSCC network, the app has already generated over 1,000 downloads and over 3,000 searches since it was announced on Twitter last week. It currently ranks number 73 in the top 100 free financial services applications and is the only credit union specific application appearing in the top 100 rankings on iTunes.
All credit unions participating in Shared Branching are welcome to add a link and icon to their website so members can easily download the application.
