FSCC Shared Branching Network Continues to Expand Coast to Coast
Ontario, Calif.—(February 16, 2010)—Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc. According to Pacific Service Credit Union, Shared Branching will provide an expansion of services without the cost of building new branches, “Shared Branching will afford us advantages in expanding our physical presence into local markets. As an organizatio n centered on creating member value, the convenience advantages we gain through Shared Branching fit well with our strategic plan,” Perron added.
“We joined Shared Branching to give our membership the convenience of reaching their accounts from anywhere they are located. We feel we can better serve our membership because of the opportunities CU Service Centers® can provide,” said Holly Smith, CEO, Renton Community Credit Union. “We’re very excited to be a part of this program and look forward to expanding our locations for our members”.
“Shared Branching via FSCC will provide account access to our military personnel located throughout the country and abroad. All our members will benefit from the increased account accessibility, availability of the call center, and other unique features of FSCC Shared Branching,” said Michael Pardon, President/CEO, Sea Air Federal Credit Union. “We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with FSCC.”
“We welcome Community Schools Credit Union, Pacific Service Credit Union, Renton Community Credit Union, and Sea Air FCU to the Network. We are honored they chose us as their network,” said Sarah Canepa Bang, President/CEO, FSCC. “Offering shared branching will not only provide their members with 6,300 new locations but also provide the credit unions a safety net in the wake of a disaster or disruption.”
“The cooperative spirit of these credit unions is significant as it reinforces the convenience that Shared Branching provides for The Movement. The more credit union participation we have, the better service we can provide members worldwide,” added Ms. Bang.
